Laura Malinverni
Teacher and researcher in technology, education and creative processes
PhD in Information and Communication Technologies from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), with a master's degree in Cognitive Sciences and Interactive Media (UPF) and a degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna (Italy). She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts and Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona (UB) and a member of the research group Averigua: Subjectivities, Visualities and Contemporary Educational Environments, also at the UB.
In parallel, her research focuses on the relationship between technologies, education and creative processes, working as a researcher as well as an educator and artist in different projects.
She has also worked as an educator in several projects linked to non-formal education with technologies in arts centres, schools and libraries. She is the founder of the association Cosicosa dedicated to critical digital literacy. Her activity in the context of non-formal education with art and technology has received several awards and prizes.
